Come on, Johnny! Why do you bother advertising your blog on the TV programs when you never do anything with them? James has finally gotten a bit of new material up, and Norm is truly the only one of the lot of you taking advantage of this exciting medium.

Let’s get on the ball, men!

  1. I’ve been trying to do it – some step-by-step instructions would be appreciated!

  2. When you login, look for the tab that says Blogroll. Click it. From there you have some choices. If you click add it is there that you can add the links.

  3. Yeah, I’ve been trying that. It might just be that it won’t show on this particular presentation. It’s about time for a change, anyhow.

  4. my friends love your site. They want to know if you all will promote them after you have finished with me norm and James?

  5. Johnny,

Well, welcome to the blog! We’ve been waiting for you for quite a while now. I wonder if you would be interested in participating in a discussion?

I’m glad, by the way, that your friends love the site. They’re invited to discuss as well. Even Shawn Paden, if he’ll agree to discuss in an adult manner.

  6. I cant believe Johnny came on here. Honestly, I have always enjoyed talking with Johnny and he went out on the limb for me while attending some at the church in Martinsville. He knew we were having problems with watching our three kids and they were kind enough to set up a TV down stairs, so I could take my kids down there and allow my wife to hear the preaching up stairs. He also has given me more DVD’s than I can count and helped me many, many, times via email. I honestly have nothing bad to say about these men…I just happen to disagree on some things with them in the bible. I havent watched them in a long time on TV, but might do so, seeing he has came on here.

  7. Johnny-Joe blue, I dont think we are finished promoting you guys, and dont plan to ever stop. BTW, many of the elders abroad said they havent even watched the DVD’s from you. The funny thing is you arent as famous as you think you are, seeing most CofC people in Texas dont even know you.

    Please tell Joey N. hello.

  8. nathan,
a viewer called johnny last night, he was telling him what a good job he was doing. one of his last requests was to have johnny comment on the thief on the cross.
to which he stated that the thief was under the old testament.
i couldnt wait to call, but was unable to get on air as it was at the end of the show. i did however speak to him off air.
i asked him about his statement and he agreed that i heard him correctly. i then asked if it was more than likely that the thief died after Jesus, he said it was possible.
i wanted to know how the thief was under a different plan of salvation than i was if we both lived after Christs death.
he said he didnt see the contradiction. if thats not one than somebody help me.

  9. Although the thief could have died after Christ, the question they could ask you is ” what testament was the thief under “when” Jesus told the thief “this day you will be with me in paradise”. And another commonly ask questions is “would you want to be saved like the thief on the cross”?

  10. The thief in fact did die after Jesus, if you recall they broke the legs of all but Jesus, because the others were still alive. It was to speed their deaths, however this was not needed for Jesus because he was already dead.

Thus the thief in fact died after Jesus! Thus I believe him to be covered under the blood of Jesus.

  11. Didnt Jesus send his discples out to preach the gospel after he was resurrected? So how would the thief on the cross be able to hear the gospel?
Romans 6:4-5 says, Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:that like as Christ was rasied up from the dead by the glory of the father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted togather in the likeness of his death,we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Since the thief on the cross didnt hear the gospel and Christ hasent rasied from the dead yet.He would have to be under the old law.

  12. “So how would the thief on the cross be able to hear the gospel?”

He saw Christ called King of the Jews, mocked and while dieing was asking God to forgive those who were doing this to him. He thus saw the Gospel of forgiveness with his own Eyes!

The Blood was in the process of being released, his dead was the payment not his resurrection! Sin offerings were about death no relife!
